FrayGuard Design Features

  • FrayGuard is designed to fit most fishing poles and is UV and water resistant.

    FrayGuard is meant to stay on the rod and work in conjunction with both active casting using lures and also stationary fishing using bait. Rods are leaned against many objects during the process of setting up, tying, and fishing. FrayGuard is meant to be used during the entire process of fishing.

  • The flex zone is the attachment point of FrayGuard and the eyelet/rod.

    The extended legs on FrayGuard allows multiple size eyelets to fit and provides a full 360° zone of protection for the eyelet, line, and rod.

    The bump pad is the area to lean against railing.

    The bumpers are what provide the zone of where to lean your fishing pole against railing.

  • FrayGuard stabilizes rods up to medium-heavy weights. This helps keep the rod positioned for the best bite sensitivity possible and allows the fisherman to not worry about precise placement of the rod leaning on a surface. Just lean it between the bumpers and it’s good to go.

  • FrayGuard supports the rod and allows the line to be lifted off of the abrasive surface that the rod is leaned against to help prevent your line from fraying.

  • When we lean our rod against something like railing, it creates a pinch point on the line. FrayGuard eliminates pinch points by lifting your rod away from the railing.
