The Attachable Abrasion-Resistant Guard for Fishing Rods (“The Product”) is designed as an accessory to help minimize abrasion, pinch points, and surface wear that may occur when a fishing rod is rested against potentially damaging surfaces such as concrete, metal, stone, wood, or similar materials. The product is intended solely for recreational fishing applications and is not designed or certified for commercial, industrial, or safety-critical purposes.

Assumption of Risk

Fishing, whether in freshwater, saltwater, or other environments, involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• Equipment damage or loss due to environmental conditions, improper use, or accidental events

• Personal injury from hooks, lines, lures, or other fishing gear

• Slips, trips, or falls on wet or unstable surfaces

• Exposure to changing weather conditions, tides, or currents

• Wildlife or marine life encounters

By purchasing, installing, or using the Product, you acknowledge these risks and accept full responsibility for your own safety, the safety of others nearby, and the condition of your fishing equipment.

Proper Use & Limitations

• The Product should only be used as directed in the manufacturer’s instructions.

• The Product is not intended to secure a fishing rod against theft, strong wave action, high winds, or vessel movement.

• The Product should not be modified, altered, or used with incompatible equipment.

• Regular inspection is required — discontinue use if any cracks, tears, warping, or other damage is observed.

• The Product should be removed and rinsed with fresh water after saltwater use to prolong its life and performance.

No Guarantee of Protection

While the Product is designed to help protect fishing rods from certain types of wear and abrasion, it cannot prevent all possible damage. Surface conditions, rod design, fishing technique, and environmental factors may affect performance. The manufacturer does not guarantee that the Product will eliminate all abrasion, bending, or line damage.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the manufacturer, distributor, and retailer shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

• Loss of fishing equipment, gear, or personal property

• Bodily injury, including but not limited to cuts, strains, or accidents occurring during fishing activities

• Damage resulting from improper installation, modification, or use of the Product

• Damage caused by environmental exposure, misuse, or neglect

User Responsibility

It is the sole responsibility of the user to:

• Follow all assembly and usage instructions

• Monitor the Product’s condition and replace it when necessary

• Avoid unsafe or unsuitable fishing locations

• Keep the Product and fishing gear out of the reach of children and pets

• Use good judgment in all fishing situations

• By using this Product, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the manufacturer, distributor, and retailer from any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to your use of the Product.
